Our Mission

The Paradise Project aims to increase overall thoughtfulness in our culture by celebrating science, nature, art, and philosophy. We bring together diverse independent free thinkers and promote educational awareness of Big Picture abstract concepts such as pantheism - the perception of Albert Einstein, Baruch Spinoza, Alan Watts, and a wide array of scientists, mathematicians, philosophers, poets, and others who teach a science and nature-based spiritual language - a language that suggests everything, altogether is Divine; that we are a part of a unity; that paradise is here and now.

Fundraising

We are working to establish artistic displays and spiritual centers for free thinking non-dogmatic individuals who want to celebrate the world as it is. We want to bring together reason and spirituality as unique people have dreamed about, suffered for, sacrificed and even died for throughout history.

You are welcome to support us in any way you can. Your volunteer work or financial contribution gives us a voice in our culture and a message that is needed in our world today.

Art Installations

"Luminaries of Pantheism" Mural

In January of 2015, The Paradise Project commissioned its first public mural for the side of its headquarters in Venice, CA. The mural, entitled "Luminaries of Pantheism," is by the notable muralist Levi Ponce. The mural was completed in March 2015, and features famous scientists, philosophers and poets who have espoused pantheistic views of the world -- views that everything that exists consititutes a unity, and that this all-inclusive unity is divine (frequently described as "Everything is God"). Put simply, these great thinkers saw beauty in the connection of the universe. The Paradise Project, an organization dedicated to this ideal, is proud to honor these wise men and women for their contributions to human evolution and culture.

The mural can be seen at the South end of the Venice boardwalk, which receives more than one million visitors per year. The art project was conceived by The Paradise Project Chairman, Perry H. Rod, and was designed by Peter Moriarty. For more on the mural, please see the original Press Release, the Semi-Finalists, and the Mural Finalist pages.
